The administrative requirements to enable you to use the BEKB | BCBE E-Banking are:

• BEKB | BCBE user ID, password and additional code (free of charge)
• Contract with any Internet provider
• Business association with the BEKB | BCBE or with the BEKB | BCBE net

We recommend the following to ensure that your E-Banking proceeds smoothly:

• Pentium PC from 160 MHZ and min. 32 MB RAM (corresponding, analogous requirements for Apple Macintosh)
• fastest possible modem or ISDN line
• screen resolution of min. 800x600 pixels

• Requirements: 128-Bit-Encryptment
• Windows XP: Internet Explorer 6.0 und 7.0; Firefox 1.5.0.3; Netscape 7.1
• Windows 2000: Internet Explorer 6.0 und Firefox 1.0.4
• Mac OSX 10.4.8: Safari 2

We do not guarantee any support on other operating systems.

• Internet Explorer: from version 6.0
• Netscape: from version 7.01 (Apple Macintosh: see above)

We do not guarantee any support on other version or combination.

Encryption is provided by means of a Global ID by Verisign, known as the "Financial Certificate". This certificate permits 128 bit encryption and dispenses with the need for installation of additional programs or patches.

We recommend the following preferences:

• Activate Java
• Activate Javascript
• Accept Cookies

• BEKB | BCBE user ID free
• Internet link - Provider fees (vary according to provider)
• Telephone line - Connection fees

You can apply to any provider for an Internet connection. Access to the Internet will enable you to benefit from the diversity of the information and applications on the worldwide network.
