Thirteenth
successive increase in dividend – young entrepreneurs introduce themselves 2'500
shareholders attended BEKB | BCBE's May 18 2010 Annual General Meeting in Bern
and approved the thirteenth successive increase in dividend. A dividend payment of CHF 4.80 per share
(previous year: CHF 4.40 per share) will therefore be effected on 28 May 2010. The shareholders approved
of the changes in the Articles of Association presented to them and re-elected Kathrin Anderegg-Dietrich,
Prof. Dr. Rudolf Grünig and Dr. Rudolf Wehrli to the Board of Directors for a further term of office
of three years. In his speech, board chairman Dr. Jürg Rieben pointed out BEKB | BCBE's
broad shareholder base: "Over the twelve years since BEKB | BCBE's conversion into
a incorporated company, the number of our shareholders has increased tenfold. This march we welcomed
our 60,000th shareholder. This fills us with pride." Media
